Hayter Engineering is looking for the right entry level civil engineer (EIT) to assist in the design of civil and environmental infrastructure projects.

      For 65 years Hayter Engineering has assisted its clients in North and Northeast Texas with the development of their infrastructure needs. We are growing our company with current expansion further into  Texas, and into Oklahoma. You could be a part of this exciting expansion.

      If you have a desire to be a part of a successful company with a proven track record, then check out the following job requirements:

      • BS in Civil Engineering
      • EIT Certification in Texas
      • Experience and/or primary interest in water, wastewater, and drainage design is preferred, but other civil engineering experience is welcomed
      • A hunger for learning, and a willingness to be a team player
      • Core competency in AutoCAD
      • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

      Selected candidates meeting this criterion will begin their assignment at Hayter Engineering as a Design Engineer. As a new Design Engineer, you will immediately begin your on the job training by assisting in the design of a wide variety of civil infrastructure projects. You will quickly begin to see the fruits of your labor as your projects come to life.

      At Hayter Engineering we utilize a team concept where a Project Manager leads a design team for each project. Design Engineers work directly under a Project Manager. Each team is responsible for the development of project scope, design, and project implementation. As a team member, you will have access to the hard and soft resources of our company in order to enhance each project and your development.

      As you develop your skills, you will begin to work more and more independently on larger components of projects. After you obtain your Professional Registration you will become a Project Engineer where you will be assigned complete projects with their complexity increasing with your development. Further development will lead to the critical role of Project Manager. Ultimate development would lead to a leadership role with ownership potential.
