Big Creek Lake Park Improvements

Our Solution

Hayter Engineering assisted the City of Cooper in obtaining grant funds from Texas Parks and Wildlife for Big Creek Lake Park improvements. Work performed by the owner and volunteers was designed, reviewed, and coordinated by Hayter Engineering.

Improvements included:

• Renovation of courtesy dock,

• Concrete handicap parking and gravel public parking,

• Handicap accessible sidewalk to courtesy dock,

• Solar powered lighting, grading of access road,

• Dredging around existing boat ramp and courtesy dock,

• Gabion retaining wall for erosion control.
