Our Solution
Hayter Engineering conducted an improvement survey of a platted lot that had a very short closing date. When the closing date was set the seller thought that a survey would not be needed as the seller still had a copy of the survey that was used when they purchased the property.
However, the description of the property that was attached to the deed was at least 61 years old and did not have a survey plat, so none of the improvements on the property were addressed.
Hayter Engineering was able to conduct the field survey, re-establish the missing boundary monuments, prepare a survey plat and write a new metes & bounds description in a time frame that did not cause the closing to be delayed.
